Most people are familiar with the Wainwrights, the iconic 214 Lakeland fell walks that traverse the stunning landscapes of the Lake District. Completing all 214 is not just a goal; it’s a remarkable achievement that embodies the spirit of adventure. As passionate weekend warriors, we often find ourselves yearning for the Lakes, but living a couple of hours away makes it challenging to visit more than five times a year.

Why the Marilyns?

During my quest for new hiking challenges, I stumbled upon the Marilyns, a collection of peaks that piqued my interest. Named with a clever nod to the Scottish Munros, the 52 Marilyns scattered throughout the Lake District offer a perfect blend of aspiration and attainability. I compiled a list of these peaks in height order, and as a designer, the idea of creating a vibrant sticker poster to serve as a physical 'tick-list' was a natural fit. This poster is more than just a checklist; it’s a visual celebration of our hiking adventures!
